PEACE BUILDING IS MANY THINGS

Nonviolence Training
Graduates of this class were trained in trauma healing, mediation, and resolving conflicts non-violently, like hundreds of their peers.
These certified Peacebuilders will join hundreds of others in Cambodia to reduce violence & create peace locally.

Trauma Healing & Self-Care
"Peace begins with me." When there is healing from violence and brokenness, we can each be a force of transformation in the world. So healing begins with ourselves, but it doesn't stop there.

Learning New Tools for Living Non-violently
Peace Builders gather several times each year to share their work and learn new tools for building healthier relationships in their families and communities.

Confronting Injustice through Non-Violence
Community groups apply their conflict resolution training to care for their communities and their rural habitat especially forests and rivers, because their motto is: "It's our forest, too."

Partnering to Protect & Heal the Earth
Civic groups, religious groups, and local communities partner together to give thanks to the Holy one for these grand, special trees and then to bless them. The trees are wrapped with a sacred Buddhist cloth as a sign of protection and warning to anyone who would harm them.
